Vicinity Centres has deepened its relationship with luxury conglomerate LVMH, securing plans to introduce 12 leading brands to the redeveloped Chatswood Chase on Sydney’s North Shore.
The redevelopment will roll out in two phases. The first phase, set for completion in October, “in time for Christmas”, will unveil the ground, second and third levels, with refreshed fashion and lifestyle offerings. The centre’s new luxury precinct, located on Level 1, is scheduled to open in April.
“Our enduring partnership with LVMH is built on a deep understanding of luxury retail, mutual trust, and a shared commitment to creating long-term value,” said Peter Huddle, CEO and MD of Vicinity Centres.
The centre will house 10 LVMH brands on Level 1, while Sephora and Parfums Christian Dior will occupy premium ground-floor tenancies. Other confirmed LVMH brands include Loewe, Fred, TAG Heuer, Chaumet, and Rimowa.
The development includes upgraded interiors across all four levels and a new rooftop lifestyle precinct, aimed at enhancing the customer experience and rivalling the world’s top-tier luxury centres.
Marco Comazzi, president of Louis Vuitton South Asia, described the investment as part of LVMH’s long-term commitment to Australia.
“Australia remains a strategically important market for Louis Vuitton, and we are committed to strengthening our presence to offer exceptional services and experiences to our Australian clients,” he said.
