Construction of YG Riverside Village at Yeerongpilly Green, is nearing completion with more than 85% of retail space leased and anchor tenant Woolworths to open mid-August.

Developers Consolidated Properties Group and CVS Lane Capital Partners have announced several new tenants to join Brisbane’s new riverside neighbourhood as the centre structures and shops take shape. With the walls up and the roof on, locals can now get their first glimpse at the scale of the 8,850m2 centre.

Priceline Pharmacy is the latest addition to YG Riverside Village’s health and wellness hub, which has been bolstered with leases also signed by a massage and beauty boutique.

Priceline has secured a 220m2 tenancy opposite Woolworths and BWS, and within easy reach of other health and wellness operators including a nail salon, barber, hairdresser and Goodlife Gym.

Priceline franchisee and local pharmacist Lauren Kiryazi said Yeerongpilly Green was perfectly suited for a Priceline pharmacy to expand in the south-west Brisbane corridor.

“Local community pharmacies play a vital role and are a core part of any community. The new Priceline store will bring the most popular health and beauty products closer to local residents, while also providing professional health advice and fulfilling their pharmaceutical needs,” said Kiryazi.

YG Riverside has also recently signed another eatery – a Vietnamese restaurant – following an earlier commitment from Dapple + Waver, a bar and kitchen specialising in craft beer, boutique wine, artisan coffee and modern Australian cuisine.

Consolidated Properties Group National Manager for Retail Leasing, Rob Clifton, said he expected the remaining retail tenancies and commercial office spaces would be snapped up quickly now the external form of the centre was complete.

“With YG Riverside Village finally taking shape, it’s easier to visualise the way people will move through the centre, and understand the prominent position it occupies within Yeerongpilly Green,” he said.

“We are really pleased with the tenant mix we have achieved to date and the way we have been able to ‘group’ these tenancies for shopper convenience, with health and wellness services, restaurants and commercial operators all co-located with similar businesses.

“There is a lot of activity at the construction site with new tenants commencing their shop fit outs, creating what will be south-west Brisbane’s newest and most contemporary riverside shopping centre.”
