Perth’s Galleria shopping centre will undergo a complete revitalisation, spanning two floors, and is expected to be completed by the end of next year.
The redevelopment of the Vicinity-owned centre will include major changes to the centre’s retail, dining, and lifestyle precincts.
The transformation will cost around $240 million and is intended to reposition Galleria as a vibrant and modern shopping, dining, and entertainment destination in Perth’s north east.
“This next stage of Galleria’s transformation is about creating a destination that truly reflects the lifestyle and expectations of our community,” said Vicinity project director James Fudge.
“We’re excited to deliver revitalised fashion and lifestyle malls, new entertainment experiences, and a fresh retail mix that will bring renewed energy and connection to the heart of Perth’s north east.”
Vicinity, a retail property group, owns several recognisable retail destinations across Australia.
The group’s portfolio includes Chadstone Shopping Centre in Melbourne and Sydney’s Queen Victoria Building.
