Deicorp is set to launch its first-ever culinary and retail precinct in Melrose Park, positioning Melrose Central as a must-visit dining hub in Sydney.

The dining precinct, inspired by the flavours of street food from Hong Kong, Tokyo, Seoul and Singapore, will span more than 4700sqm.

Melrose Central’s culinary area also offers fresh food and beverages from national and international brands, including Coles, Dan Murphy’s, Australian grocers, and a Korean supermarket and bakery.

“We’ve imagined our street food concept as a graduated evolution of everything people love about Burwood Chinatown, East Village and Regent Place, elevated by the immersive artistry creating a city-style dining offer,” said Bilinda Turner, Deicorp’s head of retail.

The broader Melrose Central retail space spans 30,000sqm and will house about 100 retail brands.

Located 6km east of Parramatta’s CBD and 15km from Sydney CBD, the Melrose precinct is set to deliver more than 11,000 homes, 22,000 new residents and 50,000sqm of parklands and open space.

In addition, the Hope Street entrance of the destination will have a key stop on the Parramatta light rail stage two, while the forthcoming Parramatta gateway bridge will link directly to Sydney Olympic Park and Wentworth Point.

Melrose Central is slated to open in mid next year, with leasing and residential enquiries now open.
