Chief Executive Officer Emanuele Govoni co-founded Qubica in March 1993, where he created the first front desk and back office application in the mid 90’s. He then transitioned to focus on building Qubica’s sales and distribution network and on establishing the Qubica image and presence worldwide with the creation of Qubica USA, Qubica Asia and Qubica Australia. Under Emanuele’s leadership, in less than 12 years, Qubica became the hi-technology global leader and the third largest bowling company in the world, QubicaAMF Worldwide.
This growth path made it possible for Qubica to acquire the former Mendes Company in 2003, and in 2005 to merge with AMF Bowling Products and split ownership 50/50. Emanuele’s primary role since the merger has been managing the Company’s worldwide strategic planning and marketing activities, including communication and marketing services, product management and product marketing, market research, business development and CRM. His responsibilities also included overseeing the management of the Company’s R&D and engineering activities. Emanuele has been a member of the Board of Qubica for 12 years and of the Board of Managers of QubicaAMF Worldwide, since 2005.
In the broadest sense, a user is any individual who interacts with a system, product, or service to achieve a specific goal. Whether they are navigating a mobile app, clicking through a website, or engaging with an AI, the user is the central figure for whom the experience is designed. In the realm of technology, "user" often implies a person who utilizes hardware or software, where their behavior, feedback, and needs dictate the evolution of the interface. While the term can feel a bit clinical or detached, it represents the vital human element that transforms static code and logic into a functional, purposeful tool.
