As part of a bold new expansion strategy, Australian fresh food brand Soul Origin is rolling out its first-ever drive-through model, providing customers with fresh, high-quality food at ultimate convenience.

Acting as the exclusive agents for this exciting rollout, Stonebridge Property Group has already secured four prime locations, with more sites actively being sought across New South Wales, Victoria, and Western Australia.

“We are thrilled to be leading the national site selection for Soul Origin’s drive-through expansion,” said Steve James, Director of Retail Development Site Sales & Leasing at Stonebridge Property Group.

“The success in securing these first four sites demonstrates strong demand for Soul Origin’s offering, and we are eager to identify more premium locations to continue this momentum.

“Building on these initial four prime locations, we are looking to connect with landowners, developers, and landlords who have potential sites that fit Soul Origin’s expansion strategy,” said James. “This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing market segment.”

With more Australians seeking healthier, convenient food options, Soul Origin’s drive-through model solves a current gap in the market

The rise of drive-through dining in Australia reflects changing consumer preferences, with more people looking for fresh, high-quality meals on the go. Soul Origin’s expansion into this space positions it as a key player in the evolving quick-service restaurant industry, offering an alternative to traditional fast food. As of November 2023, the company operates more than 160 stores nationwide, primarily located in shopping centres and busy retail precincts.

Nick Patrick, Development Manager at Soul Origin, said: “With DA approval granted for our first new build in Victoria, we are set to break ground in April 2025, aiming to commence trade within 12 months. This will likely be our second drive-through location, following the conversion of an existing building scheduled to open in Q3 2025, with further details to be announced soon.”

“With an increasing number of Australians seeking healthier, convenient food options, Soul Origin’s drive-through model solves a current gap in the market,” said Patrick. “This marks the beginning of our expansion into a new channel, unlocking incredible opportunities for our brand. It’s just the first step toward something much bigger”.

Stonebridge Property Group is actively searching for additional high-exposure sites suitable for Soul Origin drive-through locations. The ideal sites are positioned in major growth areas, highway corridors, and retail precincts, with high visibility and strong customer traffic.
