Port Adelaide Plaza is set to elevate the local retail experience with the arrival of two significant new tenants: Woolworths Supermarket and the iconic South Australian retailer Tony & Mark’s. These additions will further enhance the centre’s fresh food and grocery offering, solidifying its position as the retail and lifestyle destination of choice for Adelaide’s northwest corridor.

Tony & Mark’s, a proudly family-owned business with more than 46 years of history, will open its ninth store – a 500m2 flagship location. Known for its exceptional customer service, premium fresh produce, gourmet platters, and bespoke floral arrangements, the brand’s arrival at Port Adelaide Plaza will offer shoppers a market-style experience that blends quality, variety, and value.

The Tony & Mark’s opening will complement the introduction of a brand-new, 5,000m2 Woolworths Supermarket, scheduled to open in the second half of 2025. The Woolworths store will showcase an expanded fresh food offer, quick meal solutions, and popular wellness brands including its Macro Wholefoods Market range. It will also feature seamless integration with online shopping and ‘Direct to Boot’ services via six dedicated bays, ensuring flexibility and convenience for customers.

Trevor Dill, Chief Operating Officer at Precision Group, said: “Precision Group is very pleased to announce a partnership with one of Adelaide’s most iconic and successful brands in opening their ninth store. This latest addition of Tony & Mark’s and Woolworths Supermarket adds to the existing 70+ specialty retail stores and services, ALDI Supermarket and the new large-format Big W which opened in November 2024.”

The new Woolworths store has been designed with sustainability in mind, incorporating more than 800 solar panels, refrigeration systems that reduce environmental impact, and trolleys made from recycled materials.

Edmond Krecsik, Leasing Executive at Precision Group, added: “This investment is part of our long-term commitment to the Port Adelaide community. We are focused on creating a high-quality, convenient, and sustainable retail hub that supports the region’s continued growth and prosperity.”

Recent additions to the centre’s offering over the past 12 months include Adelaide Cosmetic & Laser Clinic (opening July 2025), Amplifon Hearing Care, Clinpath Pathology, Lavish Café, Pop Phones, The Port Dental Care (a Bupa Members First Ultimate practice), Uncle Gino’s Barbershop, and Wendy’s Milk Bar.

Located on Commercial Road in the heart of Port Adelaide, the centre is well-connected to public transport, just 100 metres from the Port Adelaide train station, and offers 900 free car parks, including 250 undercover. Servicing a main trade area of over 132,000 residents, Port Adelaide Plaza continues to thrive as the region’s retail, services, and dining destination.
