Stockland has appointed FDC Construction & Fitout (FDC) as the builder for the first stage of Aura Town Centre, a retail development within the masterplanned Aura community.
Josh Sondergeld, Stockland’s development director, said the appointment moves the project closer to serving as a core retail destination for residents and the broader community.

“We know the importance of having shops, dining and services within easy reach for our residents. Aura Town Centre will be a high-quality retail, dining and entertainment precinct just a short drive, cycle or walk for the community,” said Sondergeld.
The centre will comprise approximately 16,300sqm. It will include a full-line supermarket, two mini-major tenancies, 55 specialty stores and kiosks, and three non-retail spaces for health and wellbeing services or other businesses.

The project also includes 680 parking spaces across ground and basement levels.
Construction is scheduled to begin early next year, with an opening targeted for late 2027. Stockland will provide further updates as works commence.
Once complete, Aura Town Centre will connect directly to the 5.3-ha Aura Parklands, which will include a swimming lagoon, barbecue and picnic areas, and event spaces. Construction of the park began in June.
