BWP Trust is set to repurpose a former Bunnings Warehouse in Narre Warren into a large-format retail centre, set to open in the third quarter of next year.

The circa $50 million project, dubbed ‘Fountain Gate Central’, designed by architect Hames Sharley, will span 11,000sqm to 14,300sqm, offering a tenant mix that includes retail, healthcare services, lifestyle and dining spaces, with five large-format retail tenants.

“With Casey’s population set to surpass half a million by 2041, there’s never been a better time to invest in our city and be part of its exciting future,” said Stefan Koomen, mayor of the City of Casey.

“The Narre Warren Fountain Gate precinct has always been a prominent and vibrant hub, welcoming people from across southeast Melbourne to shop and catch up.”

Anchored by Super Retail Group, along with Rebel Sport, BCF, and Macpac, the site will also feature a corner pad for a Grill’d Healthy Burgers restaurant.

Mainbrace has been appointed managing contractor on the project.
