Castle Towers Shopping Centre in Castle Hill, Sydney, will add several leading clothing brands to a new two-level lifestyle precinct, opening later this year.
The development will span across levels two and three of the shopping centre. It will include brands such as JD Sports, Lululemon, LSKD, and City Beach. A spokesperson for QIC, the property’s managers, said it will also feature “refreshed concepts” from Nike, Universal Store, and Kookai Australia.
“Castle Towers is one of the most coveted super-regional assets in the country, supported by a strong catchment, exceptional transport links and consistent retail demand,” Luke Young, GM of leasing, said.
“Interest from leading retailers continues to outpace available space, and this precinct enables us to respond to that competitive tension with a format that supports long-term performance. It sets the centre up strongly for the next stage of growth.”
An additional 155 car spaces will be added to support the expected increase in footfall. Built-Obayashi has been appointed to manage construction, with work commencing this month.
The development follows the centre’s launch of its design precinct in November, which has more stores yet to open, QIC said.
“The two precincts serve the breadth of contemporary fashion demand – weekend athleisure and elevated designer pieces – with curated brand mixes in high-demand categories,” the spokesperson added.
