Chatswood Chase launched the final stage of its $625 million redevelopment, with Level One as the central component. The floor is a luxury retail precinct developed through a partnership with LVMH.
The launch completes an 18-month redevelopment following the reopening of Lower Ground, Ground Floor and Level Two. The addition of Level One positions the centre as a retail destination on Sydney’s North Shore.
Level One brings together more than 20 brands, including several LVMH Maisons. Peter Huddle, CEO and managing director of Vicinity Centres, said the project marks ‘a new chapter’ with 23 brands located within a purpose-built environment.
“Our expanded partnership with LVMH is central to this vision, bringing together some of the world’s most prestigious maisons within a purpose-built environment that prioritises service, experience and long-term relationships with our customers,” he said.
Amy Wotton, GM, brand and marketing at Vicinity Centres, said the opening of Level One forms part of a longer-term development strategy based on partnerships and customer engagement.
The precinct includes services such as personal styling, private shopping and concierge, alongside valet parking operated by Lexus and a hands-free shopping service.
Two LVMH flagship brands are currently open, with plans to expand to up to 10 maisons. Brands present include Louis Vuitton, Dior, Loewe, Celine, Bvlgari, Chaumet, Rimowa and Fred. Hermès, Rolex, Cartier, Tiffany & Co, Omega, Burberry, House of Kennedy and Dolce & Gabbana are scheduled to open between May and July.
Alongside the retail rollout, Chatswood Chase plans a program of activities until September, including events and service offerings. The strategy aims to expand the centre’s role beyond retail.
