The second stage of the new Butler Central shopping centre, located forty kilometres north of Perth in Western Australia, opened on Thursday March 15. The $70+ million investment by the Woolworths Group in the local community commenced construction in January 2017 and now completed is anticipated to be a premier convenience shopping destination with retail space of over 10,000m2.

The Woolworths Supermarket opened in December last year and construction continued behind the fences since that time to complete the centre. The second stage of Butler Central includes retailers such as Best & Less, The Reject Shop, Priceline, Pricesavers plus a range of restaurants and eateries bringing a long-awaited dining destination to the region. Butler Central is managed by Colliers International as part of the Woolworths shopping centre portfolio.

“We were excited to complete and open the second stage of Butler Central on Thursday March 15,” said Wes Dose, Woolworths Senior Development Manager. “The centre provides greater variety as a convenient shopping destination for the community and represents Woolworths commitment to investing in the area.”
