Construction has officially begun on CS Square’s extension, CS Hub – a brand new retail and commercial office precinct running along Lake Street and Commercial Road, Caroline Springs.

Located directly opposite CS Square, which features all three major supermarkets and a Kmart, CS Hub will be a brand-new bulky goods precinct that will further strengthen the retail offer within the Caroline Springs community.

Ben DeLutis, Chief Operations Officer at DeGroup said, “We’re so excited for construction to be starting at CS Hub. With the precinct being just a minute’s walk from the existing shopping centre, CS Hub will solidify Caroline Springs as the go-to shopping precinct in the City of Melton. Demand for both retail and office space has been strong, and we know that our customers want more, so we’re thrilled to be delivering an enhanced shopping experience for the local area.”

Adding more than 3,500m2 of retail space, exciting new retailers will join the mix alongside CS Square’s existing big brands such as Priceline, Specsavers and The Reject Shop. CS Hub will focus on providing a mix of lifestyle goods, everyday essentials, and professional services; ultimately enhancing everyday convenience for the community.

The precinct will also provide more than 500m2 of commercial office space. Focusing on more curated spaces ranging between 67 to 85 square metres, CS Hub will be the perfect office solution for local businesses and startups looking for a contemporary setup that’s also conveniently positioned in the heart of Caroline Springs.

DeGroup, a family-run, Australian property group purchased the site in 2021 for circa $136.5 million. DeGroup currently own and manage four shopping centres across Melbourne including CS Square, Sanctuary Lakes Shopping Centre, Somerville Central and The Village Bacchus Marsh.

In partnership with LSR Construction, project completion is expected to be in late 2023, and leasing interest has been strong for both retail and office space, with only several tenancies left available.
