Frasers Property Australia has revealed the first brands coming to ECQ Outlet, the third stage of Eastern Creek Quarter (ECQ) and greater western Sydney’s first outlet retail destination. The development, on track to open in 2026, will be home to the biggest ASICS outlet store in Australia.

Joining ASICS will be Adidas, Fila, Puma, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Tarocash, Connor, yd., Johnny Bigg, Rockwear and Strand. The Outlet retail mix will feature a curated selection of beloved international and Australian brands, offering everything from athleisure and adventure wear to footwear and fashion favourites.

ECQ Outlet will feature about 100 brands in a large-scale ‘outlet retail’ concept in which brands will offer a minimum of 70% of their stock for sale discounted from ordinary retail price or recommended retail price.

Construction is progressing well, with the basement car park now complete delivering over 300 undercover parking spaces as part of the 1,100 additional parking spaces planned. Meanwhile, the shopping centre floor is nearing completion, with 90% of the structure already built.

Opportunities remain for a select few tenancies with interested retailers urged to act fast

The introduction of outlet retail further distinguishes the ECQ precinct, which is already established as a unique retail destination. Upon completion, ECQ Outlet will enjoy direct connectivity to the existing shopping centre, creating a seamless and integrated shopping experience.

“With ECQ Outlet fast taking shape, we’re excited to welcome this diverse range of top brands to greater western Sydney’s first ever outlet retail destination. ECQ is already established as the go-to social, dining and shopping hotspot for the local community. Upon opening this expanded offer, we can cater to the needs of a wider geographical region, which will only enhance the appeal and experience even further,” says Felicity Armstrong, General Manager Retail Investments, Frasers Property Australia.

“We are excited to share further announcements soon on the expanded dining offer and ECQ Social outdoor precinct showcasing the vibrant social heart of the destination,” Armstrong says.

Construction on track with outlet retail destination to open in 2026

ECQ’s strategic location at the intersection of the Great Western Highway and the M7 Motorway makes it uniquely suited to the outlet model given its connectivity and accessibility to a vast geographical area of Sydney. The trade area upon opening is estimated to be more than 1.2 million shoppers across this rapidly growing region of Sydney.

ECQ Outlet represents an investment of approximately $150 million in the community by Frasers Property. Approximately 500 jobs will be created during the development phase and an additional 500 long-term jobs are expected to be created once it opens.
