Revelop has announced the appointment of Richard Crookes Constructions as the official construction partner for the highly anticipated Chisholm Plaza project. The $180 million town centre is set to transform the local landscape, creating a modern, thriving retail precinct with a strong focus on community engagement and sustainability.

This significant development will deliver an exciting new retail and lifestyle hub to the local community, bringing an array of contemporary amenities, enhanced convenience, and vibrant spaces for both residents and visitors to the area.

Charbel Hazzouri, Founding Director of Revelop, shared his enthusiasm for the long-awaited Chisholm Plaza project, which has been years in the making.

Scheduled for completion in the last quarter of 2026, Chisholm Plaza will be a state-of-the-art destination, bringing critical infrastructure to the Waterford Estate and the greater Maitland area.

Founding Director, Anthony El-Hazouri said, “This development marks a significant milestone for us as it will be our first 4-star Green Star target rated building, underscoring our commitment to sustainability and delivering high-quality, environmentally responsible developments. We look forward to seeing the project come to life with such an experienced partner.”

The development is designed with the future in mind, focusing on sustainability and energy efficiency, with ample green spaces and public areas that foster social interaction and promote a healthy lifestyle.

The project will also contribute to local job creation and economic growth, making it a vital asset to the area, a sentiment echoed by Maitland Mayor Philip Penfold.

Construction is expected to commence in March 2025, with a sod-turning ceremony at the site to mark the milestone occasion scheduled for the 5th of March.
