The $80-million Aura Home + Life retail precinct has opened its doors on the southern Sunshine Coast, introducing a 20,000sqm LFR centre to the region.

Developed by Capital Property Group, the precinct launched alongside several national retail brands, such as Rebel, The Good Guys, TK Maxx, and Pillow Talk.

Additional tenants, including Adairs and Baby Bunting, are scheduled to open next month.

Located at the intersection of Graf Drive and Aura Boulevard adjacent to the Aura Business Park, the site connects directly to the Bells Creek Arterial Road, providing access for residents across Aura, Caloundra, and nearby regions along the Bruce Highway.

“After years of planning and watching the centre take shape, it is incredibly rewarding to see the car park filling up and customers exploring the precinct,” said Richard Snow at Capital Property Group.

“It marks the transition from a development project to a major new retail destination that will serve this community for many years to come.”

State member for Caloundra Kendall Hatcher highlighted the centre’s role in supporting ongoing population growth across the southern Sunshine Coast, noting that the added commercial capacity allows residents to work and shop closer to home.

According to Super Retail Group and Stockland representatives, the area’s expanding population, which currently exceeds 16,000 residents in the master-planned Aura community, positions it as a primary driver for establishing new retail locations in the region.

“The opening of Aura Home + Life reflects how far Aura has evolved over the past decade. The community has reached a scale that can support significant retail, employment, and service investment,” said Josh Sondergeld at Stockland Aura.
