New retail tenants are set to open in the Norwest Quarter retail precinct, marking the initial commercial rollout for the zero-carbon, mixed-use development in Sydney’s Hills District.

Developed by Mulpha Australia, the 3500sqm retail area forms the commercial base for the precinct’s newly completed residential apartment towers, Banksia and Lacebark.

The broader 3.8ha master-planned site is designed as an all-electric, walkable village that will eventually contain approximately 864 apartments across eight towers alongside open green space.

Five hospitality operators are opening during the initial phase: Yuzu, Angelica, Pichon Cafe, Good Graces, and Anvaya Kitchen.

“We are seeing Norwest Quarter evolve into a genuine lifestyle and community destination, with a diverse mix of operators that align with the precinct’s focus on sustainability, wellness and connection,” said Andrew Newling, senior development manager at Mulpha Australia.

“The calibre and diversity of tenants coming into the precinct demonstrates strong confidence in the Norwest market and will significantly enhance the amenity available to residents, workers and visitors across the Hills District.”
