Mirvac’s retail centres have revealed the most sought-after gifts of the holiday season available to customers as part of its Wonder-Full Christmas campaign launch, collating wish lists from the local community to curate the top 10 must-have gifts for Christmas shopping.
The top gift at each retail centre varies widely, with Mirvac’s Birkenhead Point shoppers looking to grab the Christmas pyjamas from Peter Alexander, Moonee Ponds Central shoppers looking to purchase Kmart’s Ride-On Quad Bike and LEGO sets being the most-sought after gift at Kawana Shoppingworld. At Orion Springfield Central, Pokemon (toys and cards) tops the list, while activewear sets from Lorna Jane is most wanted at East Village.
“A Wonder-Full Christmas is more than just a retail campaign, it is an embodiment of our retail assets’ commitment to creating a fun, joyous and engaging shopping experience for our customers and visitors. Through each exciting aspect of this campaign, we hope to create an incredible shopping destination that sparks Christmas joy for everyone,” said Alison Flemming, General Manager, Portfolio Management – Retail at Mirvac.
Mirvac is set to make the holiday season more festive and joyful with a variety of Christmas activities. Each retail centre will offer photo sessions with Santa, tailored to include pets and those with sensory sensitivities, alongside unique, community-focused workshops and holiday-themed activities. This approach is aimed at crafting memorable experiences and infusing a touch of extra joy into the shopping experience.
To alleviate the holiday rush stress, especially for parents, Mirvac’s retail centres will provide services like professional childcare, allowing for a more relaxed shopping experience. Furthermore, in line with the season’s spirit and Mirvac’s commitment to community support, initiatives like charity-supporting gift-wrapping stations and fundraising events will be featured. These efforts are geared towards spreading cheer to customers while also positively impacting local communities and charities.
“This retail campaign has been carefully thought out and developed by the retail team here at Mirvac. The goal was to create a retail campaign that not only embodies the joy of the Christmas season, but also provides ease from the stress of shopping and gives back to the community,” explains Flemming.
“A lot of thought and effort has gone into bringing this exciting Christmas campaign to life, and I am incredibly excited to see the community enjoy all that is on offer and enjoy the Christmas festivities across the Mirvac retail portfolio.”
The national campaign will run from 1 December 2024 to 23 December 2024. The activities and workshops offered will vary across different retail locations during this period.
