The GPT Group’s Macquarie Centre has launched a new brand campaign titled ‘Where It All Begins’.
The creative platform is designed to position the Macquarie Park complex as a primary regional hub for retail, dining, entertainment, and leisure activities.
The campaign rolled out across digital channels, out-of-home advertising, and broadcast video-on-demand (BVOD).
The marketing material focuses on a sensory narrative highlighting the facility’s lifestyle options, including apparel shopping, beauty services, and social dining.
According to management, the creative assets are structured to pivot across commercial categories and calendar events throughout the year, with a heavy focus on seasonal occasions, fashion, and food.
“Macquarie Centre has always been an important part of life in Sydney’s north. ‘Where It All Begins’ gives us a more exciting and emotional way to tell that story,” said Chelsea Smith of Macquarie Centre.
“Every visit can spark something different, a new look, a great meal, a family memory, a first date or an unexpected discovery. This campaign captures that sense of possibility and reflects our ambition to be the leading shopping, dining and entertainment destination in northern Sydney,” said Smith.
The campaign was produced in collaboration with creative agency Fabric, with media buying managed by Hatched and public relations handled by Bastion.
“We imagined Macquarie Centre as a modern playground, a vibrant space to explore, indulge, socialise and express yourself,” said Keenan Motto at Fabric.
“Bold colour, movement and personality run through every element of the campaign, capturing the energy and spontaneity that makes Macquarie Centre feel dynamic, engaging and genuinely human.”
The physical complex currently accommodates more than 350 retail tenants. Its anchor brands include major department stores and international retailers such as David Jones, Myer, H&M, Mecca, and Sephora.
The property also contains recreational facilities, including an ice rink, which was reopened last year after a seven-month upgrade, a multiplex cinema, and bowling infrastructure.
