Wellness company Cryo Stay Young has opened a location at Eastland Shopping Centre in Melbourne, introducing its first cryotherapy chamber in the city.
Known as Cryo Arctic, the chamber cools the body to as low as -140 degrees Celsius in a controlled three-minute session to support recovery and reduce body pain.
Cryo Arctic is the only system of its kind listed with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), which recognises Cryo Arctic among a limited number of wellness technologies that meet medical-grade standards for safety, quality, and performance.
Whole-body cryotherapy exposes the body to sub-zero temperatures for short periods, which the company says helps trigger physiological responses such as increased circulation and reduced inflammation.
“Too often, people wait for a health scare before taking action,” said Satyapriya Pani from Cryo Stay Young Eastland.
“Our goal is to make recovery and wellbeing part of everyday life, whether for athletes managing performance or individuals proactively supporting their health.”
In addition to whole-body cryotherapy, the Eastland site offers complementary treatments including infrared sauna, red light therapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
Eastland said the opening aligns with its broader focus on health and well-being services.
“Eastland continues to evolve as a destination for health and wellbeing,” said Greg Balmforth, GM.
“Cryo Stay Young introduces a service not previously available at the centre, giving the community new ways to invest in their health.”
