Alexander Heights Shopping Centre is set for a redevelopment that will expand its food offering and enhance amenities for the local community.
The $6.8 million project is due for completion later this year, being delivered by Erceg Management – owner of nine metro and regional shopping centres across the state for more than 40 years – alongside J.Prestipino Building Designs, and Spyda Construction.
The revitalisation will include new fresh-food and dining retailers, upgraded entrances and mall areas, an outdoor piazza, a refreshed Woolworths supermarket with its Direct-to-Boot service, and improvements to the centre’s facade, walkways and solar-equipped parking areas.
Rob Staniford, GM of Erceg Management, said: “The new Alexander Heights Shopping Centre redevelopment will transform the traditional suburban shopping centre experience into a vibrant meeting place for the local community.”
The development is expected to generate dozens of local construction jobs, with further retail, hospitality and customer service roles to be supported once the centre opens.
