A raft of new retailers is joining Rouse Hill Town Centre’s new precinct following its $200 million expansion.

The Sydney shopping centre is adding more than 10,500sqm of retail space, making way for around 50 new stores. It is the biggest expansion at the centre since its opening in 2007.

New brands Peter Alexander, Glassons, Billini, Mimco, Universal Store, Adidas, Elite Eleven, Sheike and Anita Gelato will join some of the country’s leading retailers. Real estate investors The GPT Group called it its most significant retail development in more than a decade.

“With more than 12.6 million visitors each year, Rouse Hill Town Centre continues to experience exceptional demand from retailers seeking a presence in one of the country’s most dynamic growth corridors,” said Ben Simpson-Morgan, centre manager at Rouse Hill Town Centre.

“As the region attracts new families, we’re investing in creating an even more compelling offering that responds to the evolving needs of our community.”

Simpson-Morgan called the investment a representation of the “commercial opportunity” that Sydney’s Hills District presents. The new precinct is set to open later this year, with more retailers due to be announced.

The GPT Group said it comes alongside wider residential expansion and infrastructure investments in the city’s north-west region.
