The finalists for the 2026 SCCA Marketing Awards have been chosen by The Shopping Centre Council of Australia (SCCA), which has reported a record year of entries, showcasing the creativity, innovation and community impact of shopping centre marketing across Australia.
The 2026 finalists represent shopping centres and marketing teams from across the country, with campaigns recognised across five major disciplines: Brand and partnerships, community, compelling experiences, innovation and retailer marketing.
A total of 82 campaigns have been named finalists, spanning small, medium and large shopping centres, as well as campaigns delivered across multiple centres.
SCCA marketing awards coordinator Kirby Rogers said the record response demonstrated the strength and sophistication of shopping centre marketing across Australia.
“The standard of entries this year has been exceptional, and the record number of submissions made selecting the finalists an incredibly difficult task for our judges,” said Rogers.
“The finalists represent some of the most creative, innovative and impactful work being delivered by shopping centre marketing teams across Australia.
From major brand partnerships and compelling customer experiences through to community initiatives, innovative campaigns and retailer marketing, the breadth of work being recognised is a fantastic reflection of our industry.”
“The Awards provide an important opportunity to celebrate the people behind these campaigns and recognise the ideas, collaboration and hard work that go into creating experiences that connect shopping centres with their customers, retailers and communities,” she added.
The 2026 finalists include campaigns from major shopping centre groups and independent operators, with entries ranging from local community initiatives and accessibility programs to major brand partnerships, artificial intelligence campaigns, Christmas and seasonal activations, food and retail campaigns and large-scale customer experiences.
The Council also acknowledged the SCCA Marketing Awards sponsors, whose support and generosity help make the Awards possible.
“We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors for their ongoing support of the SCCA Marketing Awards,” said Rogers. “The Awards would not be possible without the commitment of our sponsors, and we thank them for helping us celebrate and showcase the very best of shopping centre marketing in Australia.”
The winners of the 2026 SCCA Marketing Awards will be announced at the SCCA Marketing Awards Gala Dinner on Thursday, October 22 at the Ivy Ballroom in Sydney, with the event beginning at 5:30 pm.
